Welcome to Collection 2025
It’s an exciting time to learn to be a fashion designer! With the importance of sustainable design practices and a return to slow fashion practices, SFD is proud of our 90-year commitment to teaching the fine skills of quality garment making.
Established in 1934 and celebrating an anniversary year, the School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design.
Our students receive the highest quality training in pattern making, garment construction, fashion sketching, French draping, textile science, and computer aided design. They are poised to be the next local designers, fashion entrepreneurs, costumers, and industry professionals. They are the future of Boston fashion.
