Policies and tuition Agreement
School policies cover grading and attendance policies, among others. The tuition agreement includes payment schedule and refund policy. By signing up for a course at SFD, you agree to these policies.

When classes are in session, students are welcome to use empty and available SFD classrooms to complete their homework. The building hours this semester as follows:
Monday 8:30am to 6pm
Tuesday 8:30am to 9pm*
Wednesday 8:30am to 9pm*
Thursday 8:30am to 9pm*
Friday 8:30am to 4pm
Saturday 10am to 4pm
Sunday Closed
* Some classes meet later than 9pm but if you are not in class, we do ask that you leave by 9pm -
Description tIn-person classes are held at 31 St. James Ave. 2nd Floor, Boston, MA in the Park Square Building.
The school is around the corner from the Arlington stop on the Green Line and a couple of blocks away from the Back Bay Stop on the Orange Line and commuter rail.
SFD does not provide parking, although there are paid garages in the neighborhood.
The School of Fashion Design has partnered with two local parking garages:
Motor Mart Garage and 200 Stuart Street Garage to offer a daily discounted rate to SFD students and faculty.SFD Discounted Daily Parking Rates for 200 Stuart Street Garage and Motor Mart Garage:
Monday – Friday daily rate: $17
Evening and Weekend rate: $10
Over 12 hours rate: $27

Students complete their registration for all classes, polices agreement, and some supplies purchase online.

Most supplies are not provided by the school. In some cases there is a supply fee on top of tuition for items that students will not be able to acquire on their own.
It is the student’s responsibility to have the required supplies for the first day of class.
Recommended optional supplies and retailers can be found in the Student Resources and Orientation course on Coassemble.
